People shop a lot at this time of year. When you’re out shopping with your family and other trusted adults, you can stay
safe and prevent crime. Know your home phone number and address, and your parents’ work and cell phone numbers, or write these numbers on a card and carry it with you.
Remember stranger danger.

When stores are crowded, most people in the crowd are
strangers. Be careful! If someone you don’t know offers anything to you or asks you to go somewhere with him or her, run away and tell your parents or a trusted adult immediately.
